Family Portrait

This is a piece I created to honor the memory of a baby boy who was taken from my family too soon. I collaged photos taken throughout his life. I cropped, traced and adjusted a few details throughout the piece.

Pet Portrait

This is a portrait of two cats I was commissioned to illustrate for a birthday present. I was asked to incorporate items the owners found meaningful to surround the cats which helped add a more personal touch to the piece.

Skillshare Portrait Piece

For some portrait practice I took Molly Egan’s course on Skillshare.com. I applied her process to my own style which helped me with my decision making when applying color, patterns and finding reference. I absolutely love Skillshare and am always trying to spread the word of how great it is for fellow creatives.
